The Journal of Management Studies (JMS) is excited to start-off the new year with the four important initiatives:

First, we are happy to launch our new blog www.managementstudiesinsights.com. This blog offers engaging snapshots about research published in JMS to highlight its practical and societal implications. With this blog, we seek to bridge academic scholarship in management studies with scholars across disciplines, practitioners, media and the broader public who are interested in the societal relevance of management studies, and invites for discussion about the impact that management scholarship has beyond academia.

We have exciting posts about research on Rohingya refugees, Uber drivers, coalface CSR, millennial "meh", crowdsourcing to save our oceans, and partnerships for tackling COVID-19.

Make sure sign up to the blog´s mailing list to receive updates on new entries!

Second, we have launched "JMS Reflections" our new Youtube channel. In the form of short video-clips, JMS editors and other leadings scholars from the discipline will share their views on crafting research, getting your papers published in a top-journal, and doing meaningful and important research. The video channel is mainly directed at PhD students and early career scholars to gain hands-on insight about the research process, and will be updated regularly with new content, so stay tuned.

Third, in joining the ongoing and important conversation about the need to conduct impactful research, we are happy to share our most recent editorial in which JMS editors discuss how to do management research that makes a difference by broadening the meaning of impact. The editorial is available open access on the journal's website.

Our intention is to offer scholars interested in impactful research a hands-on source of inspiration and "how-to" guide for conducting research that matters and which contributes to urgent societal challenges and the greater good.

Lastly, from now on JMS will be managed via the online submission system ScholarOne. All future submissions are expected to be submitted through this system. The JMS office continues to be available for all author queries

We wish everyone a happy new year!
