*** Apologies for cross posting ***

    Hello SIM Division Members,

We invite you to submit a paper to the Special Issue of The Journal of Applied Behavioral Science (JABS) titled: COLLABORATING ACROSS ORGANIZATIONAL BOUNDARIES: CO-CREATING A MORE JUST, RESILIENT AND THRIVING SOCIETY.

The purpose of the special issue is to explore how organizations, collaborating across organizational boundaries, can co-create a more just, resilient, and thriving society. In other words, we seek to learn how inter-organizational collaboration can reshape organizing--as well as organizations themselves--to create a new and better normal after the COVID-19 pandemic. See the full call for papers in the following link (also attached): Special Issue JABS Call for Papers_Pavez et al_Final.pdf.

    Submission deadline: October 31, 2021

We encourage dialogue prior to the final paper submission, by conversations with guest editors (see list below) from March 1, 2021 to August 31, 2021. We will communicate soon a Paper Development Workshop to work with high-potential proposals. Below are the timelines of the Special Issue:

    • October 31, 2021: Initial paper submission to JABS portal.
    • December 31, 2021: Decisions & reviews communicated to authors.
    • March 31, 2022: Revisions due.
    • May 31, 2022: Submission of final papers.
