    Dear colleagues,

I write to solicit applications for the 17th Annual Global Business Ethics Teaching Workshop, hosted by the Hoffman Center for Business Ethics at Bentley University, and sponsored by the State Street Foundation. Please spread the word!

This three-day Workshop, to be held virtually from May 24 – 26, 2021, is designed to provide university instructors the knowledge and tools that they need to be more effective addressing ethical issues in business (and related topics such as CSR, sustainability, and corporate citizenship) in the classroom. The Workshop is open to first-time instructors as well as to those with more experience looking for ways to improve. We welcome applications from scholars based in any country.

The Workshop features presentations by a number of Bentley faculty, including Jill Brown, M. Lynne Markus, and yours truly, as well as guest lectures by faculty from other institutions, including Nien-hê Hsieh (Harvard), Mary Gentile (Virginia), Danielle Warren (Rutgers), and Christopher Michaelson (St. Thomas). A tentative agenda can be found here.

Thanks to the generosity of the State Street Foundation, participants in the Workshop will receive a $500 stipend.

To apply for the Workshop, please fill out the attached application form and send it to Gail Sands (gsands@bentley.edu) or Jeff Moriarty (jmoriarty@bentley.edu). We regret that we typically have more applications than we have available seats (and funding). Applications are due February 1, 2021.
