     Dear colleagues,

I encourage you to apply for the Research Impact on Practice Award. The award, now in its eighth year, recognizes peer-reviewed research that has important implications for practice. The research can focus on any dimension of social or environmental sustainability. Articles must have been published during the previous calendar year, either online or in hard copy

The award is sponsored by the Network for Business Sustainability and the Organizations and the Natural Environment (ONE) Division.

Please consider submitting your work for this year's award. Submissions are due April 30. At least one author needs to be an ONE Division member.

The winner will receive $500 cash and a trophy to be delivered at the ONE business meeting. The research will be promoted broadly through NBS, which has a network of more than 7000 subscribers and many more website visitors.

Last year's award went to Sukhbir Sandhu and Carol Kulik for their work on how a sustainability manager's role changes through a company's sustainability journey, and how organizations can balance structure and freedom in the role. Read their award summary and popular article.

It's so important to recognize the work we do to solve some of the greatest challenges our world faces. This award seeks to do just that. Find out more about past winners – and apply for the 2020 award
