    Job Information

    Expected start date position: 1 February 2022 or a mutually agreed time

    Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years (max. funding period is 5 years)

    Place of work: University of Lausanne, Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC), Dept. of Strategy, Globalization, and Society (SGS)

    Type of position: Between 70-100%

    Your responsibilities

    • 50% of the assistant's time will be dedicated to completion of doctoral studies in either Management or Economics.

    • 50% of the assistant's time will be dedicated to providing teaching, administrative, and research support for the supervisor. 

    Your qualifications

    In order to expand our team, we are looking for someone with the following skills: 

    • Master's in management, economics, organizational behavior, psychology, development studies or equivalent.

    • Fluent in English.

    • An interest in development research (e.g. poverty, public health, sustainable land management, global supply chain, corruption), willingness to travel to the Global South.

    • Strong quantitative skills with an interest in experimental methods, digital data, and RCTs.

    • Must apply at the appropriate time and be accepted to the doctoral program in either Economics and Management.
