The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the levels of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor in Organizational Behaviour.
IIMA is an autonomous school of management in India. It was set up in 1961, with initial academic support from Harvard Business School. Its flagship Post-Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management, now awarded as an MBA, was set up in 1964. The Institute also offers a PhD Programme in Management, a highly rated one-year Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX) and a top-ranked PGP in Food and Agri-Business Management (FABM), a two-year Blended Post Graduate Programme in Management (BPGP), and online PG degree/diploma programmes. IIMA also offers a wide range of open-enrolment and customized Executive Education programmes (EEPs). IIMA has retained its pre-eminent position as the top-ranked management school in India over the past 50 years and has broken into the top 20s in international ratings.
IIMA promotes high-quality research, providing the best-in-class support to facilitate the same. IIMA's Organizational Behaviour (OB) Area is internationally recognized for its teaching and research. Faculty Members in the Area have a broad spectrum of research interests and have published in top academic journals like Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, Human Resource Management, Personnel Psychology, Organization, Information and Organization, Business & Society, and American Psychologist among others.
IIMA invites applications for full-time faculty positions (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) in Organizational Behaviour from outstanding scholars across thematic areas of the discipline, including established themes (e.g. motivation, leadership, teams, organizational commitment, innovation, culture, control, change and transformation, meta-organizations, work and employment among others) and emergent themes (e.g. mindfulness, diversity and inclusion, positive organizational scholarship, new forms of organizing, platform work, artificial intelligence and work, sustainable organizations, networks, among others).
