The 2025 Summer Doctoral Institute on Tackling Grand Challenges, sponsored by GW-CIBER and the George Washington School of Business, will take place from June 2-6, 2025 in Washington, DC. This one week PhD course will provide students with the foundation to research the role of management, organizations, and institutions in tackling grand challenges.
This year's core faculty include Joel Gehman, Voni Pamphile and Dror Etzion. Other faculty from GW and DC area universities will be on hand to provide feedback on student projects. If you are a faculty member interested in dropping by at some point during the week, just let me know.
Applicants must be enrolled in a doctoral program. Preference will be given to applicants who have passed their comprehensive/qualifying exams. As a reminder, the application deadline is March 23. Email jgehman@gwu.edu directly with any questions.
