The Organization Studies area at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management announces, subject to budgetary approval, a two‐year post‐doctoral fellowship for newly‐graduating PhDs in organizational behavior, human resource management, or other closely-related fields, covering topics such as employment relationships, human capital, ethics, negotiation, cross-cultural management, employee voice, power and status, and diversity.

Postdocs are expected to work with Owen faculty on new research projects, while making progress toward publication of their current work. To be eligible, candidates must complete the PhD by summer 2020. The strongest candidates will be those whose interests align closely with Owen faculty, and where the postdoc and faculty member can foresee developing joint research projects. We encourage applicants to look in detail at Owen faculty research, and identify faculty with similar interests and ongoing research activity. To see a list of our faculty, select "Organization Studies" on this page: https://business.vanderbilt.edu/our-school/faculty/faculty-directory/

The two‐year fellowship will begin in August of 2020. In additional to salary and benefits, postdocs receive an annual allowance for research/conference‐related travel and expenses. In addition, the school provides computers and computer support. During the period of the fellowship, fellows are expected to be in residence, work with faculty on research projects, participate in research seminars in the school and teach one course each year or otherwise contribute to the teaching and research mission of the school.

The Owen Graduate School of Management is engaged in graduate and undergraduate management education. It has an enrollment of over 550 students in its MBA, Executive MBA, Americas MBA for Executives, Master of Science in Finance, Masters of Accountancy, Master of Marketing, and Master of Management in Health Care programs.
