    SIM Colleagues, 

    Greetings. SAGE Publishing is looking for 5 scholars to write 4,000-6,000 word social issues in management/business ethics cases for the Third Edition of Business Ethics: Best Practices for Designing and Managing Ethical Organizations by Denis Collins. We already have 7 case writers and need just 5 more. 

    The topics chosen are linked to a chapter and appear below with the viewpoint we wish presented. 

    C2: Evolution of Business Ethics –

    • Uber and Lyft: Driver Rights and Pay – for this one we are looking at a viewpoint that is neutral and speaking to pros and cons

    C3: Governance –

    • Would You Buy Monsanto: Bayer and Roundup Cancer Litigation – for this one we are looking at a viewpoint that is neutral and speaking to pros and cons

    C7: Ethics Training –

    • Ethical Issues with Airlines – Customer relations – overbooking, removal from planes, etc. – for this we are looking for a positive viewpoint that is discussing progress and best practices

    C9: WhistleBlowing –

    • Sexual Harassment & MeToo Movement – for this we are looking for the critical viewpoint and how this is impacting business operations

    C10: Leadership –

    • Best Practices responding to Workplace Bullying  – for this we are looking for a positive viewpoint that is discussing progress and best practices 

    Schedule

    • Draft Deadline: February 20th, 2020
    • Final Deadline: April 1st, 2020

    Criteria:

    • Words per case study (including citations and questions): 4,000-6,000 words
    • Minimum of 20 academic citations
    • Write 3-5 critical thinking questions about the case topic
    • Write 1 paragraph case analysis (4-6 sentences) about how the case study relates to the aligning chapter (e.g. how topics in the Opioid case relate to topics in chapter 1 on ethical behaviors)
