We are thrilled to invite you to the “Behind the Scenes” PDW at the 2025 AOM conference! We hope you will join us and our esteemed panelists, Tina Dacin (Queen’s), Michael Smets (Oxford), Virginia Leavell (Cambridge), Mark de Rond (Cambridge), and Marjolaine Monique Rostain (Warwick) for insightful discussions on organizational ethnographies. In line with this year’s theme, our panelists and participants will especially explore the challenges, successes, and strategies of sustaining a rich pipeline of ethnographic research.
PDW structure:
- Moderated discussion with the panelists [everyone welcome]
- Audience Q & A [everyone welcome]
- Panelist-facilitated roundtables [pre-registered participants will receive individualized feedback; please submit an abstract at the time of registration; limited spots!]
This PDW will be of great interest to doctoral students, freshly minted assistant professors, emerging scholars, as well as seasoned scholars, with an interest in and/or experience of conducting ethnographic research. Join us for an interactive experience and walk away inspired!
In the past, the PDW registration has filled quickly; we encourage you to register early to save yourself a spot! Please feel free to get in touch with the organizers in case you have any questions.
