Call for Applications - Social Media Editor
Business and Society Review
Business and Society Review is looking for its first Social Media Editor to join our team [unsure why you need to mention this, does it create an atmosphere of "you and I are new and unsure what to do" or "this can be really creative for me, the candidate?]. The candidate will work alongside our Editorial team and Wiley Publishing to run the social media accounts for the Journal, inclusive of the Journal Twitter, and curate content for and manage the Journal's blog; working with the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief to highlight key contributions published in the Journal and other Journal news and activities. [very nice framing of the job here]
This is a fantastic role for anyone looking to get some further experience working with a well-known and established journal in the Business and Society subject area. In addition to being an adept social media user/influencer, the candidate should meet the following requirements:
- published at least two academic papers
- excellent written English
- commitment to the journal's mission
- familiar with international social media platforms
Application deadline: Review of applications will begin 15 August 2022
Desired start date: 01 October 2022
Please email your CV and a brief cover note to David Wasieleski at: wasieleski@duq.edu by 01 August 2022 with the subject line: BASR Social Media Editor Application. Applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled.
