    !! WOW !! --- Our talented SIM Reviewers and Associate Editors (AEs) showed up in very, very BIG ways!

    Thank you to SIM Reviewers and AEs for their thorough reviews with thoughtful and developmental feedback for all submitted papers and symposia.

    Tuesday, February 27th 'close-of-business' Reviewer Center update:

    SIM Reviewers completed 969 reviews!! This represents an IMPRESSIVE amount of work and commitment by SIM Reviewers. Celebrations are in order!!

    Overall:  SIM's combined review completion rate for Reviewers and AEs is 93.4% for AOM 2024. This accounts for the entire SIM universe of completed, in-progress, unopened, and declined reviews.

    !! Compared to the AOM average of 88% across all Divisions, SIM is well above the overall review completion rate.

    While we should certainly aim to close the completion rate gap, SIM is a notable AOM Division leader for total completed reviews!  =  #SIM #PROUD

    Tuesday, February 27th:

    Completed = 969 Reviews – Hooray!!

    In-Process = 18 Reviews.

    !! NOT YET OPENED !!  = 52 Review Assignments.

    Recent SIM Reviewing Resources:  Two SIM Reviewing Workshop recordings are available under the "Reviewing for SIM" tab:  https://sim.aom.org/home.

    PLEASE PLAN AHEAD!! Remember to sign up to review for SIM next year!! The more the merrier!

    Finally, another enthusiastic HIP-HIP-HOORAY!!! – Mountains of gratitude for the invaluable contributions SIM Reviewers and AEs make to the SIM Community and toward a robust SIM Program in Chicago this August.

    Cheers and gratefully,

    Erica Steckler

    Program Chair, and on behalf of the SIM Executive Board
