The SIM Communications Committee is excited to share a message from our Division Chair, @Erica Steckler, with updates on current SIM events and future plans.
Annual Meeting planning is in full swing, and there's so much to look forward to! Philadelphia really is just around the corner.
First, gratitude. In moments when the well-being of our global communities may be most destabilized, SIM scholarship – our membership's collective life-work in tackling the wide-ranging societal issues we care so deeply about – matters more than ever. The contribution of SIM members toward societal betterment at the intersection and leverage points of management and organizing, including and especially in times and contexts of turmoil, is an enduring, inspiring, and invaluable hallmark of this Division.
I am grateful for sharing this AOM "home" with those who value and advance the impactful scholarship and engagement that characterizes SIM.
Next, kudos to each of SIM's fabulous Committees! SIM members are well-represented by dedicated volunteer teams that have been busy thoughtfully developing year-round programming and resources for SIMians and friends.
Please continue to keep an eye out for invitations and announcements of SIM's innovative offerings!
A gentle March reminder: Please share calls for the SIM Doctoral Student Consortium, SIM-ONE Junior Faculty Consortium, and our SIM Awards.
Thank you for sharing your Nominations of dedicated SIMians for the Division's governance team to support stewardship of the bright future of SIM.
