The interconnected social and environmental challenges of our polycrisis demand that business leaders recognize their sector's critical role in either accelerating or alleviating global crises. Our book "Sustainable Strategic Management: A Coevolutionary Perspective" addresses how SSM can help organizations navigate the reality that Gaia's self-regulating mechanisms are fundamentally altering social systems and human possibilities. We explore how embracing a consciousness of Oneness enables businesses to address social issues through coevolutionary thinking that recognizes the deep interconnection between social justice and ecological health. This perspective offers new pathways for corporate social responsibility that move beyond compliance to transformative social and environmental impact.
