The Asia Pacific region continues to play a pivotal role in shaping global management scholarship. As theoretical, institutional, and organizational dynamics evolve across the region, there is growing demand for rigorous, contextually grounded research that advances both theory and practice. The Asia Pacific Journal of Management (APJM) invites scholars to participate in a Paper Development Workshop (PDW) at the 2026 Academy of Management Annual Meeting to strengthen high-potential research and enhance its positioning for publication.
Session Overview
This PDW is designed to support scholars seeking to advance research on management and organizations in the Asia Pacific context. Through constructive dialogue and mentorship, participants will receive developmental feedback from APJM's editorial team focused on:
· Strengthening theoretical contributions
· Enhancing methodological rigor
· Clarifying contribution positioning
· Improving alignment with APJM's mission and scope
The workshop aims to help authors refine their manuscripts and increase their readiness for submission to leading journals.

Participants will engage in interactive, developmental discussions with members of the editorial team.
Who Should Apply?
Scholars at all career stages who are conducting research relevant to management and organizations in the Asia Pacific region are encouraged to apply. Submissions should clearly articulate:
· The study's theoretical contribution
· Its relevance to the Asia Pacific context
Both early-stage projects and more developed manuscripts are welcome.
Submission Guidelines
Interested scholars should submit either:
· A full paper, or
· An extended abstract
