    Associate/Full Professorship of Executive Education & Academic Director of Executive MBA HSG in General Management (75 - 100%)

    The Executive School of Management, Technology & Law is the University of St.Gallen's integrated platform for post-experience and executive education activities. It offers a broad range of MBA, Executive MBA, Open Enrolment, and in-house Custom programmes to board members, C-suite and executive committee members, senior and mid-career managers, as well as high potentials. The University of St.Gallen, Switzerland is seeking candidates for an Academic Director EMBA programmes position per August 1st, 2024 or mutual agreement.

    You will join the Board of Directors of the Executive School of Management, Technology and Law. You will act as the Academic Director of the Executive MBA in General Management business unit; lead a team of some 22 highly skilled professionals running the Executive MBA programmes; teach core modules in the EMBA and other executive programmes, further develop the EMBA programmes; and contribute to the University of St.Gallen's thought leadership in the field of executive education. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues in the core subject areas of the University (management, economics, law, international affairs and social sciences). The appointment will be at the level of Associate or Full Professor.

    We are looking for an inspiring, integrative personality with strong leadership-, communication- and relationship-building capabilities.

    You will bring a recognised reputation within the core subject areas of the University (management, economics, law, international affairs, and social sciences) and executive education as demonstrated by your professional career and publication track record. In-depth experience in leading a renowned EMBA or MBA programme is an advantage. In addition, knowledge, and experience in one of the following fields is desirable: general management, marketing, sustainability, strategy, innovation, leadership or executive coaching. You have a proven record of applying high ethical managerial and academic standards. You hold a relevant doctorate from a recognised institution; have a track record of success in programme development and in teaching senior executives; are fluent in English and German; and have access to a network in academia and/or practice that will support your executive education activities.
