Call for Nominations: 2026 SIM Outstanding Book Award
The Social Issues in Management (SIM) Division of the Academy of Management is pleased to invite nominations (including self-nominations) for the 2026 SIM Outstanding Book Award.
This award recognizes outstanding scholarly books that make a significant contribution to research, practice, and understanding of social issues in management.
🔹 Deadline for nominations: April 12, 2026
The selection committee welcomes submissions across all areas relevant to SIM. We are particularly interested in books addressing topics such as:
📘 Eligibility criteria include:

Books must have been published between January 2021 and December 2025

Authors do not need to be members of SIM
-
Textbooks are not eligible
-
Edited volumes with multiple authors are not eligible
-
A maximum of one book per author
-
Books rejected in previous years are not eligible for resubmission
