To all SIM Division members,
This year the SIM Division is undergoing its required DIG review by the AOM. The purpose of the review is to better understand the current state of the division and develop a strategic plan for the coming years. Of course, SIM exists to serve its members and offer a community for SIMians to connect, learn, share ideas, etc., so the review process is intentionally designed to be inclusive and responsive to the voices of all of our members.
Accordingly, a critical part of the review process is the SIM member survey, which we kindly ask you to keep an eye out for. On Tuesday, October 15, you will receive an email from the AOM with a link to the survey. Per the AOM email, this is an opportunity for you to reflect on your experiences as a SIMian, and to share your ideas for new and innovative member services.
This survey will ask you specifically about your views regarding SIM's current programs and services, your satisfaction with those programs and services, your thoughts on SIM leadership, your overall satisfaction with SIM, and your ideas for SIM's future. The SIM DIG Review Team will analyze your responses and use them to develop a strategic plan for SIM.
Once more, please keep an eye out for an email from AOM on Tuesday, October 15, with a link to the SIM member survey. We want to be able to create a SIM Division that meets the needs of its members, so we need to hear from as many of you as possible through the survey. Responding to the survey is important even if you are fully satisfied with your SIM membership, so whatever your views of SIM, please consider taking the time to respond to the survey.
