The Critical Management Studies Division will be providing travel awards to facilitate participation at the 86th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management, 31Jul-04Aug., Philadelphia, 2026.
The criteria for awarding the funds, which are provided to the CMS Division by the Academy of Management, is as outlined below:
Mandatory criteria for applicants:
● Should be an AOM Critical Management Studies Division member or will become upon receiving a travel grant. Funds will only be released to awardees after registration as CMS members.
● Should be presenting a paper, or part of a symposium, PDW or other official form of participation.
● Maximum allocation: USD1000 or 85% of the recipient's total cost of attending the annual meeting.
The Critical Management Studies Division will give Priority to:
● Doctoral Students
● Early Career Scholars
● Individuals on vulnerable or temporary contracts e.g., part time, adjunct, and assistant professors
● Individuals working in underrepresented countries or geographical regions
