    Dear colleagues,
Join us next week for our Fordham Ethics in Business Seminar Series. On Tuesday, October 24, Joanne Ciulla (Professor and Director of the Institute for Ethical Leadership at Rutgers Business School) will present the first chapter of her new book titled "Plato's Paradox: Why Ethical People Should Lead but Shouldn't Want to," which examines why leaders behave unethically. Drawing on Plato, Aristotle, Machiavelli, Weber, and others, Joanne will argue that under extreme circumstances, moral transgressions such as lying and doing harm are part of a leader's job, which can lead to ethical transgressions that are not.
