Greetings, SIM Colleagues! 

 

SIM is excited to announce a series of mostly informal "off-program" events for SIM members (and, of course, friends from other divisions) during the AOM Annual Meeting in Boston.

 

Q. Why "off-program"?? 

A. These events are not listed in the official AOM PDW or Scholarly program.

 

Q. Why attend??

A. SIM is a community brimming with talented, collegial, and fun-loving folks! These gatherings are a great opportunity to meet, socialize, and network with other SIM members.

 

 

SIM Off-Program Events – AOM 2023

 

Friday, August 4^th

• 6:30 pm – 3S: Socialize, Support, & Smile
• Organizer:  Prem Sagar Menghwar
• RSVP:  Required, via Socialise, Support, and Smile Event! (google.com)
• Logistics:  Meet at Grafton Street Pub & Grill in Cambridge (MA) 
• Note:  Cash bar. Very few places remaining!

 

• 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm: IESEG School of Management Social Event
• Organizer: IESEG School of Management (Susana Esper)
• RSVP not required
• Logistics: Meet at Clery's (113 Dartmouth St, Boston) to share drinks and food with us!
• Note: The event is sponsored by the School, but we have limited capacity, so don't be late.
  

Saturday, August 5^th

• 5:30 pm – SBE-SIM KEYNOTE & RECEPTION
• Organizers:  Society for Business Ethics (SBE), with SIM
• RSVP:  None. Please mark your calendars for this one!!
• Logistics: Collonnade Hotel
• Note:  This is a "not-to-be-missed" annual SBE-SIM collaborative event during AOM. https://sbeonline.org/conference/2023/

 

Sunday, August 6^th

• 12:00 pm – Lobster Roll Stroll

• 7:00 am – Early Morning Fun-Run

• Logistics:  Meet in the lobby of the Boston Park Plaza 
• Note:  All paces welcome

 

Tuesday, August 8^th

• 7:00 pm – Baseball! Boston Red Sox vs. Kansas City Royals at Fenway Park

• Logistics:  Meet in the lobby of the Boston Park Plaza at 6:20pm
