    POSITION DESCRIPTION
    UCLA invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar to advance research in business and sustainability. This is a joint appointment between the UCLA Anderson School of Management and the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability (IoES), providing a unique opportunity to contribute to interdisciplinary research on environmental and business challenges.
    The postdoctoral scholar will work under the supervision of Professor Magali Delmas and collaborate with faculty across disciplines.
    Relevant fields include, but are not limited to: economics, strategy, behavioral science, and related areas. Candidates from other disciplines addressing sustainability challenges are also encouraged to apply.
    Responsibilities include:
    • Conducting original research at the intersection of strategy, organizations, and sustainability
    • Collaborating on academic publications and disseminating research findings
    • Participating in seminars, workshops, and collaborative initiatives at UCLA
    Basic Qualifications (at time of application):
    • All requirements for a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in economics, strategy, behavioral science, or a related field-except the dissertation-must be completed at the time of application.
    • The Ph.D. must have been granted by an accredited university within the past five academic years.
    Additional Qualifications (by start date):
    • Ph.D. (or equivalent) must be conferred by the start of the appointment.
    Preference will be given to candidates with strong writing skills and demonstrated quantitative analytical abilities.

    Annual salary will follow the UCLA Postdoctoral Scholar Salary Scale plus 19.6% in benefits.
