We invite you to join us for a timely and interdisciplinary Professional Development Workshop at AOM 2025:
Addressing Real-World Challenges and Conflicts: Gaining Insights by Approaching Conflict from Different Perspectives, on Different Levels of Analysis, and with Diverse Methodologies
This PDW brings together scholars from across AOM divisions to explore how conflict-broadly defined-can be studied through a variety of disciplinary lenses, research methods, and levels of analysis. Topics include ethics, power, communication, and DEI within organizations, as well as societal concerns such as institutional trust, polarization, and policy in the face of global challenges like climate change and AI.

Participants will gain fresh theoretical and methodological insights and explore opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
This PDW is organized into two distinct yet complementary sections, each approximately one hour long. Each session begins with an expert panel, followed by small roundtable discussions-giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with our panelists. This format is designed to balance expert insights with active audience participation.
