    Dear SIMians,

We are thrilled to gather as a scholarly community in Chicago! We look forward to an Annual Meeting filled with exceptional content, thoughtful exchanges of ideas, and new connections.

In these dynamic times, with major elections in many countries, active wars, and significant social issues, we want to emphasize and reaffirm our shared values and professional norms. As members of AOM, we are expected to recognize and respect others' dignity, merit, and rights, appreciate diverse backgrounds and experiences, strive to eliminate bias, promote fairness, and maintain an environment free of harassment. Exemplifying these shared values enables all of us to enjoy and gain from our opportunity to convene.

We encourage you to understand our AOM code of conduct. If you witness or experience a situation in which individuals violate our professional norms, here is where you can find support and guidance: Policies and Procedures for Handling Charges of Ethical Standards Violations. If uncertain whether a particular situation violates professional norms, the AOM's Ethics Ombudsperson (ombuds@aom.org) is available for consultation.

We look forward to seeing many of you soon!
