    Dear SIMians,

It is fantastic to see that SIM is the preferred home for so many conference submissions--we received over 530 submissions and over 75 symposia--that is a record!  Thank you for your submissions!

Next step:  Each of these submissions needs a quality review, but so far only 333 people (of our total membership of 2069) have signed up to review. As SIM prides itself in being a collegial and developmental division, the expectation is that all of us--in particular every person who has submitted to SIM--will participate in reviewing. This is an important process to ensure the best possible contents for our conference program, and also to provide useful feedback for your colleagues on the work submitted to SIM.

It is not too late!  Reviewer assignments go out this weekend, so please sign up by January 12 to review for SIM here.

Reviewing is an important way to keep up with the cutting edge work in your field, as well as a critical professional service. Why haven't you signed up yet?  Are you a doctoral student or junior faculty member who has little to no reviewing experience? No problem! SIM is holding Reviewing Best Practices Workshop. Featuring SIM Reviewing Experts and recent Program Chairs. Save these dates – Thursday, January 25th (10am PT / 1pm ET), and, Tuesday, January 30th (9am GMT / 10am CET) – to join, details and registration links coming soon…

Meanwhile, sign up now to review for SIM!  Academy of Managment - AOM

Here's to our vibrant community of scholars who choose SIM as the preferred outlet for our work!
