Dear all,
Just a friendly (and enthusiastic!) reminder about the Cavanagh Fund call for proposals, established in honor of Fr. Gerald Cavanagh, SJ-a pioneer in business ethics and a founding force behind the SIM Division.
We are actively seeking proposals for research projects that develop practical, ethical solutions to today's most urgent social challenges. Each project team should include at least one academic, one industry practitioner, and one student, to foster genuine collaboration across sectors and disciplines.
Priority areas include:
- The Dignity of Work, Morality, and Spirituality
- Race, Inclusion, and Society
- Ethical Norms and Organizational Values
- CSR and Social Entrepreneurship
- Business Ethics in Education
Selected projects may receive up to $20,000 in funding.
🗓 Submission window: September 2025 – March 2026
This is a wonderful opportunity to carry forward Fr. Cavanagh's vision of action-oriented business ethics that serve both organizations and society.
