    Calling all SIMians!

The SIM Division is seeking enthusiastic members interested in volunteer service and leadership opportunities within the division, and your help is needed! Nominations-including self-nominations-are accepted and encouraged! When you nominate yourself or a colleague for volunteer roles, you help us ensure that SIM continues to serve member and community needs.

We are looking for dedicated SIM members to be nominated for several elected positions:

    • The SIM Program Chair-Elect who manages PDW submissions for AOM 2026 and begins a 4-year SIM Executive Track rotation.
    • The SIM Webmaster who manages SIM's webpage and social media for a 3-year term.
    • The 2 SIM Representatives-at-Large who represent members within SIM governance decision-making, and help organize key SIM events for a 3-year term.

In addition to the above elected roles, please note that we are also recruiting nominees for volunteer roles to be appointed by the SIM Executive Board:

    • The Student Representative-at-large, a doctoral student who will represent students' perspectives within SIM governance decision-making for a 1-year term.
    • The Chair of the SIM Curriculum Development Committee who will help disseminate materials and concepts to improve teaching in the SIM field for a 1-year term.
    • Up to 4 SIM Program Developer Committee Members for a 2-year term, who will support the SIM Program Chair and Program Chair-elect in developing our program for the AOM annual meeting. This last role will be a great learning opportunity for those interested in taking on a future SIM executive leadership position.

Nominating is simple: click the link below to visit the SIM Nominations website, and follow the directions on the screen to submit nominees for open volunteer roles in SIM.
