    Dear SIMians & friends,
We just now had our first workshop on "Reviewing Best Practices", with our fantastic guest experts, Jill Brown & Kathleen Rehbein, who shared insights from their extensive reviewing and editorial experience and sparked a lively discussion.
Our next workshop on honing your reviewing skills is on Tuesday, January 30th, with our special guest experts, Maoliang Bu & Arno Kourula, and recent SIM Program Chairs (Colin Higgins, Cristina Neesham, and Michelle Westermann-Behaylo), and current SIM Program Chair (Erica Steckler). The workshop has been scheduled to directly support reviewing contributions to the SIM Program, AOM 2024. Please make sure to sign up to review for SIM! It's still not too late!!
Plus, the tips you learn will be beneficial for well beyond the AOM, especially when you review papers based on the SIM and allied themes.

    Below are the coordinates:

    January 30th: At 9 a.m. GMT / 10 a.m. CET / 11 a.m. SAST / 2:30 p.m. IST / 5 p.m. SGT. Please register in advance via: https://bit.ly/simrev2

We have organised this as an hour-long session that preview what to expect in the AOM review process, and share best practices for crafting developmental reviews.

This online event is open to all SIMians & we warmly invite friends from other divisions. This would also be particularly useful for those who would like to be more active in the division. We hope to see many of you online!

    Cheers,
    SIM Governance Committee
