    SIM Division's Speed Networking
August 6th (onsite and online) at 1030-1230 PST

After an unexpected hiatus of two years, the famous Speed Networking is back at the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management! This year, the event has been organized to allow for longer and hopefully more meaningful one-on-one conversations with senior scholars from the SIM division. Join this PDW to get to know the SIM community and discuss research, academic life, or anything else in an informal manner with a scholar of your choice!

The PDW takes place on August 6th from 10:30 to 12:30 (Pacific time), in hybrid format. We have a fantastic line up of SIMians eager to meet you:

    How to register?

These scholars will be available to network with you in either virtual or onsite format in slots of 20 minutes. To book a networking slot, please follow these instructions:

    • If you intend to join AOM virtually, select up to 4 scholars who are available to network virtually. If you intend to join AOM onsite, select up to 4 scholars who are available to network onsite. Please note that we will not be able to facilitate networking across virtual and onsite participants.
    • The slots are available on a first come, first served basis. We kindly request you to book networking slots only if you are certain that you can attend the event in the specified format.
    • Select your networking slot via the following signup form: https://bit.ly/simnetworking (NB: the form may not work on all browsers. Please try alternative browsers (e.g. Chrome) and/or disable cookie blocking).
    • The form indicates the senior scholars' research interests, the number of available slots per scholar, and whether they are available online or on site.

For those who will attend this event onsite, you are warmly invited to join the luncheon starting at 12:00 (generously sponsored by the SIM division)! All online participants will be able to network with each other in breakout rooms.

We are looking forward to your registration and please do not hesitate to contact us in case of any questions!

    Best regards,
