August 6th (onsite and online) at 1030-1230 PST

Final call to register for the SIM Speed Networking PDW! There are still a few spots available for online networking!

We have organised the event to allow for longer and hopefully more meaningful one-on-one conversations with senior scholars from the SIM division. Join this PDW to get to know the SIM community and discuss research, academic life, or anything else in an informal manner with a scholar of your choice!

The PDW takes place on August 6th from 10:30 to 12:30 (Pacific time), in hybrid format. We have a fantastic line up of SIMians eager to meet you:

    How to register?

These scholars will be available to network with you in either virtual or onsite format in slots of 20 minutes. To book a networking slot, please follow these instructions:

    • Online: If you intend to join AOM virtually, select up to 4 scholars who are available to network virtually.
    • Onsite: If you intend to join AOM onsite, all onsite networking slots have already been booked! However, you can fill in your details (without selecting online or onsite scholars) and we will add you to our waiting list.
    • Please note that, as of now, we will not be able to facilitate networking across virtual and onsite participants, i.e., if you are an onsite participant, please do not choose online slots and vice versa
    • The slots are available on a first come, first served basis. We kindly request you to book networking slots only if you are certain that you can attend the event in the specified format (i.e., online or onsite).
    • If you have already registered, please do not re-register. If you are unsure of if you have registered, please check with us.
    • Select your networking slot via the following signup form: https://bit.ly/simnetworking (NB: the form may not work on all browsers. Please try alternative browsers (e.g., Chrome) and/or disable cookie blocking).
    • The form indicates the senior scholars' research interests, the number of available slots per scholar, and whether they are available online or on site.

We are looking forward to your registration and please do not hesitate to contact us in case of any questions!

    Best regards,

    Sarah Stephen & Pushpika Vishwanathan
