Ever heard about skip-level meetings? Many have, while others haven't, and they are frequently implemented & discussed in the industry, yet inconsistently, and without substantial academic research on their benefits, risks, pitfalls, and desirable approaches.

My PhD dissertation (reviewed and approved by leading scholars and professionals in the field, as described in its acknowledgments section) focused on that, particularly in the U.S. Tech industry.

A short paper based on that dissertation was published this week in the proceedings of the 2025 European Conference on Management, Leadership, and Governance. It's scheduled to be presented next week, along with the research poster (attached here), which highlights key points (some surprising!) from the study. Two related manuscripts are currently under journal review.

You're more than welcome to read, share, cite, and reference!
