Dear SIM colleagues,
The SIM PhD Student Committee is organizing an informal walking tour during AOM 2026 in Philadelphia.
The tour will take place on Sunday, August 2 at 6:45 PM and will last approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. With a professional local guide, we will walk through Independence Mall, Washington Square Park, and Old City.
This is a relaxed opportunity to meet other SIM members, explore Philadelphia, and connect outside the formal conference program.
Meeting point: Near the National Museum of American Jewish History, directly across 5th Street from Independence Hall. Look for the Statue of Religious Freedom and the large yellow "YO" sculpture.
The tour operates on a pay-what-you-wish basis. Comfortable shoes are recommended, and please bring water if the weather is warm.
