Please see below for an important message from the AOM organizers regarding the room layouts in the Bella Center.
We hope you are enjoying the Annual Meeting and discovering value in the sessions, connections, and collaborative spirit made possible by the unique venue at the Bella Center.
As many know, hosting AOM 2025 in this unique venue has brought both exciting opportunities and a few logistical challenges, particularly around room setup. The Bella Center was not designed for traditional roundtable layouts often used during our Professional Development Workshops (PDWs).
To support our unique needs, AOM has worked closely with the venue to build customized spaces using a combination of rented furnishings and the distinctive blue box seats you see throughout the facility.
To accommodate 3,000+ sessions over five days-while staying within safety regulations and managing costs-each room was pre-set and must remain in its original layout throughout the conference. While we recognize this is not ideal, it's the only way to meet safety and space requirements of the venue.
We kindly ask for your help in maintaining these room configurations.
- Please don't move or disconnect chairs, tables, or AV equipment, as this violates Fire Marshal and evacuation codes.
- Remind session chairs and attendees to keep the setups as they are.
- Note that resets come with a €1,000 penalty per session, charged to the responsible DIG, as required by the Bella Center.
A reminder notice has been posted in each meeting room to support this effort.
Thank you for your leadership, understanding, and support in helping us be thoughtful guests and partners. With your help, we can ensure a safe, smooth, and collaborative meeting for all.
With appreciation,
Taryn Fiore
