    Dear colleagues,

Leaders of business sustainability research centres will gather for their fourth bi-annual workshop on June 25-27, 2018, at the Cornell Tech campus in New York City.

If you lead such a centre, please save the date and explore the draft agenda. Registration will open in early November.

The workshop is an initiative of the Sustainability Centres Community (SCC), managed by the Network for Business Sustainability (NBS). Since 2012, the SCC has brought together more than 130 sustainability centres from business schools around the world to share ideas on improving research, teaching, outreach, and strategy - all with the aim of advancing knowledge and practice on business sustainability. The Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise at the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business is co-hosting the workshop.

This workshop is a rare opportunity for leaders of business school sustainability/ responsibility centres to share common challenges and identify solutions. In New York, centre leaders will explore cutting-edge ideas and best practices to improve sustainability research, teaching and outreach. They will also experience hands-on training to increase skills in specific areas, including a half-day workshop on design thinking. Two days will focus specifically on centres; a third will explore shared concerns with the practitioners from the private and public sectors.

The workshop follows events at INSEAD in 2016, Harvard in 2014, and Ivey in 2012.

The workshop fee is $300 USD ($350 after March 1), but limited bursaries may be available for individuals from emerging economies. Please contact NBS for additional information.

If you are not already a member of the SCC, please join. It's free, and we can do much more by learning from each other and building community than by working independently.

We look forward to seeing you in June.
