Dear Sustainability Centres Community,
Please join us for the fourth bi-annual workshop for leaders of sustainability research centres, June 25-27, 2018, at the Cornell Tech campus in New York City. It promises to be a hands-on, informative event that will help to accelerate and amplify the impact of your centre.
The workshop will explore cutting-edge insights and best practices to improve sustainability centre research, teaching and outreach. This year, we have some very exciting trainings planned and topics being discussed, including:
· Design Thinking for Centre Challenges (led by frog design) · Storytelling for Dissemination (led by Curt Nickisch, Harvard Business Review) · Developing Your Centre's Unique Identity (led by Dave Demerjian, 43000 Feet) · Powerful Sustainability Conversations (led by Jason Jay, MIT Sloan) · Sustainability Centres in an Age of Divisiveness & Disruptions (panel)
· Business + Sustainability: Is Anyone Listening? Does Anyone Care? (panel)
Two days will focus specifically on centres, and a third will explore shared concerns with the broader sustainability community, including business managers and people from the government and non-profit sectors.
Visit the event website to review the draft agenda and register.
Registration will be limited to 80 people. The workshop fee is $300 USD ($350 after April 1), but limited bursaries may be available for individuals from emerging economies. Please contact Maya Fischhoff for additional information.
Please forward this message to colleagues and encourage them to join the Sustainability Centres Community and attend the workshop. We can do much more by learning from each other and building community than by working independently.
We look forward to seeing you in June.
