Submissions are due April 30. The award recognizes a piece of contemporary, peer-reviewed research that has important implications for practice.

Here are the 2018 winners:
-
Tom Lawrence won the award for his study of how a controversial idea - such as drug injection centres - that works in one location can get traction elsewhere. He found that the path to acceptance can be a rough one, requiring a lot of energy, effort, and time - and that the idea changes along the way. Find out more.
-
Jennifer Howard-Grenville and colleagues received the award's Honourable Mention, for their work on sustainability change within a profession. Find out more.
I hope that you will apply for this award, which over six years has recognized some of the most important work that our profession is doing. For more information and to apply, go to the NBS website.
Sincerely,
Tima Bansal
