Hello colleagues,
I am looking for recommendations on readings for an undergraduate capstone strategy course. Over the past 6 years, I've been using several books together, instead of a traditional strategy textbook, in the interest of encouraging students to think beyond the traditional strategy models repeated for decades now in the big textbooks. These have included:
Embedded Sustainability (2011) by Laszlo and Zhexembayeva
Eco-Business: A big brand takeover of Sustainability (2013) by Dauvergne and Lister
Let My People Go Surfing (2006) by Chouinard
I am thinking about updating my readings with more recent publications. If anyone has some great suggestions that you (and your students) have been excited about in the last few years, I'd be interested to hear from you about these. If others of you are interested in a collection of recommendations, I am happy to share these.
