Request for Proposals for the editorship of Business and Society

In December 2019 the current editorial contract for the journal Business and Society, sponsored by the International Association for Business and Society (IABS), and published by Sage, will be completed.  Therefore, IABS is soliciting proposals for the editorship of the journal, with a beginning date of July 2019 (new editor(s) will work with current editors through the end of 2019).  The current editorial team will have served for five years, and was formed as a group of four professors at York University.  The IABS editor selection committee would be pleased to receive short proposals (no more than 2 pages) with an expression of interest, along with an argument for why this editor (editorial team) would be a good match for the journal and what kind of institutional support the editor (editorial team) could expect to receive. The selection committee is open to various editorial arrangements and lengths of service (minimum of three years, five years optimal).  Please attach the CVs of any proposed editors to your proposal.  Please email proposals to Brad Agle, chair of the editor selection team, by September 3, 2018.  Please send a note of interest by August 5, 2018 if you are contemplating putting in a proposal.  Members of our committee will attempt to meet with interested parties during the Academy of Management meeting.  Thank you for your interest.

    Brad Agle

Immediate Past President, International Association for Business and Society, and Chair of the Editorial Selection Team for Business and Society
