    Faculty Position in Social Issues in Management

    Buffalo, New York

    The Richard J. Wehle School of Business at Canisius College invites applications for one assistant- or associate-level tenure-track position in the area of Social Issues in Management starting in the fall term of 2016. Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent degree or be ABD with a very good chance of earning their PhD by fall 2016. The primary teaching responsibilities for the position will be required courses in business, government and society at the undergraduate and MBA levels. Ability and willingness to teach in the areas of organizational behavior and human resource management, principles of management and/or strategic management will be highly desirable.

    As an AACSB-accredited institution, Canisius seeks individuals who are capable of excellence in teaching and are committed to an ongoing program of scholarly research leading to national and international recognition. Although Canisius is a teaching-oriented institution, quality scholarship meeting or exceeding AACSB standards for schools with MBA programs is required for tenure. The Wehle School of Business offers BS degrees in several business disciplines. It also offers a long-standing part-time MBA program as well as an accelerated one-year full-time MBA program.

    Canisius College is located in the Buffalo/Niagara Region of New York State where the low cost of housing, excellent school districts, numerous cultural organizations and a wide range of sports, entertainment and dining venues are just a few of the many things that make for an excellent quality of life.
