Faculty Position in Business Ethics and Social Issues in Management

The Richard J. Wehle School of Business at Canisius College invites applications for one assistant- or associate-level tenure-track position in the area of Social Issues in Management starting in the fall term of 2014. Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent degree or be ABD with a very good chance of earning their PhD by fall 2014. The primary teaching responsibilities for the position will be required courses in business ethics at the undergraduate and MBA levels.
As an AACSB-accredited institution, Canisius seeks individuals who are capable of excellence in teaching and are committed to an ongoing program of scholarly research leading to national and international recognition. Although Canisius is a teaching-oriented institution, quality scholarship meeting or exceeding AACSB standards for schools with MBA programs is required for tenure. The Wehle School of Business offers BS degrees in several business disciplines. It also offers a long-standing part-time MBA program as well as an accelerated one-year full-time MBA program.

A member of the search committee will be attending the annual meeting of the Academy of Management in Buena Vista, FL from August 9-12 to interview applicants.
