SIM Book Award Nominations

    Hello SIMians!!

    Hope that you are all well in your respective locales. Summer is right around the corner which means we will all be in Montreal before we know it. Therefore, it is time to open up nominations for the 2010 Social Issues in Management Book Award!

    Books published between January 2005 and December 2009 are eligible for this award. Nominated authors need not be members of SIM, but it is always wonderful to honor those in the Division for their hard work.     Textbooks and edited books with multiple contributors are not eligible.  

    Nominated books will be rated on their relevance to SIM, contribution to the field, and empirical and/or theoretical rigor. Potential topics covered by nominated books include, but are not limited to:
     
    Corporate social responsibilty/performance
    Business ethics
    Stakeholder theory
    Corporate governance
    Sustainability/Environment
    Compliance
    Etc.
     
    Please send nominations or questions to:     tara@sandiego.edu.  The deadline for nominations is April 30.
