Instructors of Business and Business Ethics,
Santa Clara University's Markkula Center for Applied Ethics is offering its online courses in business ethics for free classroom use, in addition to individual use. The two courses -Business Ethics for the Real World and Creating an Ethical Corporate Culture - by Kirk O. Hanson, longtime professor of business ethics at Santa Clara University and Stanford Graduate School of Business, are enriching additions to your syllabus as a supplemental ethics module. To date, over 5,000 students have enrolled, comprised of corporate professionals, ethics instructors, and students worldwide. The courses have been successfully used in a business ethics course at Marquette University of Wisconsin (read about their experience here), by Church and Community Based Higher Learning in Kenya, by Alma Mater Europaea in Slovenia, and are now being incorporated into a business law class at the KIIT School of Rural Management in India. Benefits to your curriculum: - Each course is self-paced and can be taken at any time, each taking 7-8 hours to complete.
