    Hello

    Norman Borlaugh is one of the greatest men of the 20th century, having saved millions of people from starvation through his work. Unfortunately, few Americans even know his name.

    I have required Easterbrook's Atlantic Monthly article (Gregg Easterbrook. "Forgotten Benefactor of Humanity." The Atlantic Monthly. January 1997, 75-82) of my BE students for some time as part of my environmental topics section.
