    ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOUR AND HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION 

     

    The Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Division of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver Campus) invites applications for one tenure track Assistant Professor position in Human Resource Management to start July 1, 2019. Candidates should demonstrate potential to conduct high-quality research, publish in top tier management journals, and hold or be very close to completing a Ph.D. by July 1, 2019. 

     

    We seek candidates who are developing an active research program focusing on Human Resource Management who demonstrate research and teaching excellence. Duties will include making a significant research contribution to the field, developing and teaching Human Resource Management classes to our undergraduate, and graduate education programs, supervising Ph.D. students as well as contributing to other teaching and administrative initiatives with respect to the Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources Division at the Sauder School of Business. Teaching and service requirements are similar to other research-intensive universities. 

     

    The Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources Division consists of 12 scholars in an interdisciplinary division with both macro and micro research interests who study a wide range of workplace and organizational issues, and publish in top tier management journals. 

     

    The Sauder School of Business is part of the University of British Columbia (UBC). UBC attracts a high quality, and diverse student body. With a population of 2.5 million, Vancouver is a vibrant and multicultural city situated between the mountains and the Pacific Ocean, two-hours from Whistler, and Seattle, Washington.
