Dear Colleagues,
the deadline for Gronen research conference is next Monday February 17, 2014.
Gronen 2014 will organized by Aalto University School of Business and to be held in Helsinki, Finland 16.-18 June 2014.
The theme of the conference is: How can corporate responsibility tackle critical global sustainability challenges?
within the overarching theme Gronen 2014 conference focuses on research of corporate responsibility policies, strategies and activities, as well as the influence and impact of CR with regard to three broad global sustainability challenge areas, namely
• Climate change and scarcity of natural resources
• Global poverty and inequality
• Growth or degrowth – how and for whom?
Please see the invitation attached for more detailed information about the conference. We accept both full papers (max. 7,500 words) and short research under development papers (3,000 words). Submission guidelines and further information is available at http://www.gronen2014.aalto.fi.
In addition to paper tracks, the conference features 3 interactive plenary sessions:
· "Sustainability implications of inclusive business for poverty alleviation" – organizer professor Minna Halme (Aalto University) & keynote contributors: prof. Stuart Hart (Cornell University, USA), prof. Ezekiel Reficco (University of the Andes, Colombia), prof. Jonathan Doh (Villanova University, USA), and Dr. Eliada Wosu Griffin-EL (University of Capetown, South Africa).
· "Sustainable entrepreneurship and climate change" – organizer professor Frank Belz (Technical University of Munich, Business School) & keynote contributors: prof. Johan Schot (Director of SPRU, University of Sussex), Prof. Tina Dacin (Queen's University, Canada) & Dr. Jouni Keronen (vice-president for innovation, Fortum)
· Walkshop – we will be guided by professor Paul Shrivastava (Concordia University, Canada), Dr. Timo Järvensivu and Maarit Laihonen (Aalto University)
