deadline for Gronen research conference is approaching – it will be February 17. Registration will be opened on the coming Monday, Jan 13. We look for full papers, so those who wish to submit, please take action to finalize your intended papers within the coming month.
Gronen 2014 will organized by Aalto University School of Business and to be held in Helsinki, Finland 16.-18. June 2014.
The theme of the conference is: How can corporate responsibility tackle critical global sustainability challenges?
within the overarching theme Gronen 2014 conference focuses on research of corporate responsibility policies, strategies and activities, as well as the influence and impact of CR with regard to three broad global sustainability challenge areas, namely
• Climate change and scarcity of natural resources
• Global poverty and inequality
• Growth or degrowth – how and for whom?

Keynote contributors in the interactive plenaries include Stuart Hart (Cornell University, USA), Tina Dacin (Queens University, Canada), Ezekiel Reficco (University of the Andes, Colombia), Jonathan Doh (Villanova University,USA), and Eliada Wosu Griffin-EL (University of Capetown, South Africa). Paul Shrivastava (Concordia University, Canada) with Aalto University's researchers will guide us in a walkshop in which we combine science with the nature.
Linked with the conference there will be a special issue on Poverty, Business Strategy, and Sustainable Development in Organization & Environment. For those who want to connect the conference with a couple of days off, Helsinki in June offers the nightless night and other beautiful midsummer time experiences.
