Society for Business Ethics 2015 Annual Conference

We invite you to join us in Vancouver for the
2015 Society for Business Ethics Conference. The Conference showcases the latest thinking and research on business ethics from around the world. This year's program features panels, presentations, and workshops involving scholars and practitioners. Before the International Reception on Thursday 6 August, we will hear from Bill O'Rourke, former President of Alcoa Russia, about his 35-year experience with ethical issues in business. The plenary session on Friday 7 August celebrates the 25th anniversary of
Business Ethics Quarterly, the journal of the Society for Business Ethics. On Saturday 8 August,
Joseph DesJardins will deliver his address as President of the Society of Business Ethics -"Is It Time to Jump Off the Sustainability Bandwagon?" Later that day,
Chrystia Freeland, Canadian Member of Parliament for the riding of Toronto Centre, will deliver the joint keynote address for the Society of Business Ethics and the Social Issues in Management Division of the Academy of Management. The conference closes on Sunday 9 August with a reception honoring this year's Emerging Scholars, sponsored by the
W. Maurice Young Centre for Applied Ethics, University of British Columbia. For more detail, please see
