    EURAM 2009 CSR Track

    European Academy of Management

    Liverpool, UK: May 11-14, 2009

    Dear colleagues,

We wish to draw your attention to the special CSR track that four of us [Michel Capron (Paris 8), Jean-Pascal Gond (Nottingham), Jean Pasquero (UQAM Montreal) and myself] are organizing for the EURAM 2009 conference (Liverpool, May 11-14, 2009): "Corporate Social Responsibility : Towards a new governance mode in a post-Fordian context".

The track runs over 5 sessions. Its purpose is to explore the conditions under which Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) can efficiently contribute to the advent of a new form of societal governance in replacement of the fading "Fordian compromise" typical of the mid-20th century (Business-Government-Unions governance of socio-economic matters).

We look forward to bringing together scholars from various fields of the social sciences (management, law, sociology, economics, political science, social psychology), but sharing a common interest for CSR and institutionalization processes, in order to explore the diverse dimensions of this question.

We welcome papers drawing on theoretical and /or empirical research addressing this issue.  Please find details of the track's purpose in attachment -- or go to EURAM 2009 website at:

    http://www.euram2009.org/userfiles/95_FINAL%20Abstract(2).pdf

Papers are due before December 5th, 2008.

Submissions must be sent directly to the EURAM 2009 website at:

    http://www.euram2009.org/r/submission

You wil find more information on the EURAM 2009 website:  http://www.euram2009.org

We hope that you will join us in this track. Please help us transmit this information to all interested colleagues in your networks.
