Have you signed up to review for SIM?

    Hi everyone,

I know this is a busy time of the year and so it is difficult to keep up with all the demands on your time. Nevertheless, I am about to make one more. If you have not done so already, would you please sign up to be a reviewer for the 2008 Academy conference in Anaheim.

Even if you have reviewed in the past, it is necessary to sign up each year. Otherwise, I will have no way of sending you papers. The system is automated in such a way now that you must commit to review each year. The good news is that means you no longer receive papers from divisions in which you are no longer involved. Prior to this system it was possible to receive papers years after agreeing to review once for a division - that can no longer happen. The bad news (at least for me and subsequent program chairs) is that you must now sign up each year or you are not available to review.

It only takes a moment to sign up and I promise to respect your time as I send out papers and symposiums to review. Of course many hands make light work and so the more people who volunteer the fewer papers each person will receive.  The website for signing up is below:

Thanks in advance for your support of SIM.

    Ann
