Dear Colleagues,
On Friday, February 29, 2008, Dr. Pratima Bansal (Richard Ivey School of Business) will host an all-day forum in Toronto, Canada, on best practices in engaging the community and other external stakeholders.
The forum will bring together approximately 20 academics and 40 expert practitioners. The purpose is to identify and discuss the state-of-the-art in research and practice in community engagement. There will be an emphasis on dialogue and knowledge exchange between the traditionally isolated worlds of research and practice.

This forum is being hosted in partnership with the Research Network for Business Sustainability (www.sustainabilityresearch.org), which bridges research in business sustainability with practice. The forum was inspired by the Network's Leadership Council of expert sustainability practitioners, which identifies its most pressing sustainability challenges and encourages researchers to address them.
